The San Angelo Bandits have acquired two veteran wide receivers to bolster their receiving corps. Ronald Gaudin and Jason Stephenson come to San Angelo via the Texas Revolution, where they were dual threats carrying the ball and receiving passes in 2015.
“These guys are playmakers,” said General Manager and Head Coach Meadow Lemon. “They can make big things happen in so many different ways. They bring a dynamic to the offense that gives us lots of options and makes it hard for defenses to key in.”
Gaudin (5’10”, 190) led the Revolution in 2015 with 12 touchdowns on 31 receptions and racked up 334 yards in his 12 games. He also added 16 rushes for 75 yards. Prior to that, he played college ball at Adams State University.
Stephenson (5’11”, 190) had seven catches for 58 yards last year with the Revolution. He also ran the ball three times for 21 yards. Prior to his CIF career, Stephenson played at East Central University.
The Bandits' season begins Feb. 27 when the Bandits visit Dodge City, Kansas. The first home game is Mar. 12 against Dodge City at the Foster Communications Coliseum. Season tickets are on sale now. Click here for details.
