Could This San Angelo Home Be the Most Haunted Place in Texas?

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo home with a reputation for death, demonic activity, and alleged satanic rituals was at the center of a viral investigation — one that’s prompted ghost hunters to call it the scariest place they’ve ever explored.

In an episode of The Paranormal Files, a YouTube series with over 1.3 million followers, the investigators travel to San Angelo to explore what one local described simply as “an evil place.” The home — which the team claims had never been investigated before — is said to have a violent history involving drug overdoses, human smuggling, deaths, and rumored occult activity.

The Paranormal Files also filmed a second San Angelo investigation at the city’s notorious Lone Wolf Bridge. That video, released earlier this year and titled “SO HAUNTED WE HAD TO LEAVE,” has racked up more than 300,000 views.

The bridge, said to have been built in 1922, is tied to decades of local lore — including drownings, numerous major car crashes, and rumors of unmarked graves linked to historic floods near Ben Ficklin. During the investigation, a spirit box response included the phrase “They hung me,” along with names like “Benjamin” and “David,” and messages such as “I feel hopeless and afraid.”

The Paranormal Files has now featured San Angelo in two separate full-length episodes — both involving claims of demonic or violent energy.
