‘It’s Not Just a Skate Film’: San Angelo Skaters Drop Yearlong Passion Project

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo skateboard crew has released a new film titled "DAY DREAM," a project more than a year in the making.

The film, directed and produced by Jacob Flores, premiered on YouTube on July 18. According to the video’s description, DAY DREAM is “more than a skate film” and captures “the memories of friends growing up over the years, making the best out of life while they still can.”

Flores sent a direct message to San Angelo LIVE asking for help promoting the film to more local residents, stating that the project was created with “so much passion” and that the group hopes it gets the recognition it deserves.

"We put so much passion in creating this and it would break our hearts to let it go to waste and not get the recognition it deserves," the message read. 

On Instagram, information regarding the film states, "and remember... It's not just a skate film."
