WATCH: Doberman Saves Grandfather’s Life in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX — A Doberman named Kai took life-saving action when he noticed his owner was unresponsive.

According to his owner, Kai realized something was wrong when his grandfather became unresponsive while sitting in a recliner. The untrained Doberman opened a round doorknob, went outside, and barked persistently until someone called the San Angelo Police Department.

When officers arrived, they ensured Kai was friendly before entering the home, where they found the man in need of immediate medical attention.
