San Angelo Police Honor Samuel Duran with Life Saving Award

SAN ANGELO, TX— The San Angelo Police Department honored a man who saved the life of a child.

In May, Samuel Duran was driving when he noticed a juvenile on a bridge preparing to jump. Duran stopped, negotiated with the child, and prevented a tragedy. San Angelo Police Chief Travis Griffith and the San Angelo Police Officer Coalition honored Duran today at a press conference.
