WATCH: Ft. Concho Students Promote Earth Day

SAN ANGELO, TX – During Tuesday morning's San Angelo City Council meeting, a group of students gave a presentation telling the crowd why Earth Day matters to them.

The students from Fort Concho Elementary, with the help of Keep San Angelo Beautiful, gave a number of ways how you can help out this earth day. Some ideas included going outside for a walk, planting a tree, or recycling.

One student even gave a presentation on how San Angelo could clean up the Concho River. In the presentation she gave examples on how other cities use filtration systems to make their downtown rivers clean enough to swim in.
