WATCH: Angelo State University Officially Kicks Off the Christmas Season

SAN ANGELO, TX –– Angelo State University kicked off the holiday season on Tuesday with its traditional Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. The university welcomed hundreds of visitors during the event.

Attendees had the opportunity to meet Santa, rush down inflatable slides, and make Christmas decorations in front of the Mayer Museum last night.

Families, students, and children of all ages joined in the holiday fun as ASU President Lieutenant General Ronnie Hawkins and his wife Maria began the countdown to the main event of the night, the tree lighting.

Surrounded by dozens of trees, the ASU Christmas tree will be a bright spot on Ave N. this holiday season.
