WATCH: San Angelo's Band

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Since 1988 the San Angelo Community Band has offered an outlet for amateur musicians of all ages to keep the spirit of music alive.

Each year from May to August the band provides San Angelo and the Concho Valley with a series of live concerts especially at one of San Angelo's tradition-rich concerts of the season the July 3rd Pop's Concert.

Watch as members of the San Angelo Community Band describe what it means to play for the group, the significance of performing patriotic music, and the importance of keeping community bands alive.

The San Angelo Community Band will be performing live on Saturday at the Star-Spangled Banner Concert and Fireworks Show at the Bill Aylor Memorial Riverstage. The concert is free of charge to attend. The concert will also be streamed live on San Angelo LIVE.
