WATCH: The Need for Bathrooms At MLK Park

SAN ANGELO, TX – The fight for permanent bathrooms at Martin Luther King park in San Angelo continued during this month's first city council meeting.

In the video above, head of San Angelo's National Association for the Advancement of Colored People chapter, Shirley Spears, approached city council insisting the city install permanent public restrooms at MLK park located in the center of Martin Luther King Blvd.

Currently at the park there are two port-a-potties but Spears claims that these are not adequate.

In 2019, the cost to build the restrooms were $196,000-262,000.

Will the city council approve? Watch the video above to find out.

First thing to happen in those restrooms will be overdoses and rape. This should never be approved, moreover the park should be removed and relocated to the other side of 19th where it belongs!
