WATCH: The Line That Was Worth The Wait

SAN ANGELO, TX -- If you happened to be driving down Abe Street between 5 and 7 this evening you may have noticed a line of cars stretching from Sante Fe Furniture and Gifts to Highland Avenue. 

Many were patiently waiting for the opportunity to pull up to the Concho Valley Food Bank on Hill Street where the organization was giving away food to those in need. 

It was part of the Farmers to Families program in which an estimated 400 families were served. As the smallest food bank in Texas, The Concho Valley Food Bank serves close to 22 million pounds of food each year in this area.
