SAN ANGELO, TX -- Angelo State University has selected Kovexa Solutions LLC to advance its Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence through a two-year initiative. The initiative equips students, faculty and community members to apply AI ethically to real-world regional challenges.
"Our goal is to foster the responsible use of AI among our faculty, staff, students and community while preparing our workforce for the future," said Dr. Scarlet Clouse, dean of Angelo State's College of Education and director of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Institute. "When students work alongside faculty and community partners on real-world challenges, they gain practical skills and learn both the possibilities and limits of technology. That is the kind of experience we want to extend across the university and regional communities."
The initiative structures work across five core pillars: Govern, Learn, Scale, Build and Connect, supported by a two-year study tracking impact and responsible use.
"The best starting point is a problem worth solving," said Andrew Ko, founder of Kovexa Solutions. "We are helping Angelo State bring the right access to people and technologies together to deliver practical outcomes."
