SAN ANGELO, TX -- Residents will have the chance to take home up to two free trees at Keep San Angelo Beautiful’s annual community-wide tree giveaway.
The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Murdoch’s, 4001 Sunset Drive, Suite 4200. Trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of two trees per vehicle.
Last year, all trees were claimed in just 45 minutes, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early. Planting a tree is a simple way to beautify neighborhoods, support local ecosystems, and invest in our community’s future, the City of San Angelo stated.
Available tree species (limited supply):
- Bald cypress
- Bur oak
- Cedar elm
- Live oak
- Nuttall oak
