SAN ANGELO, TX — Two local businesses, Kra-Z-Pop Cafe and De Nada, have announced they will be closing soon.
Kra-Z-Pop Cafe at 101 N. Main St. will have its final day of business Saturday, Oct. 31, according to a Facebook post from the cafe.
The post said the decision followed “much thought, countless prayers and conversations, and some very difficult decisions.”
The cafe, which is U.S. Army veteran-owned and operated, offers street foods including craft lemonade, dirty sodas, dirty popcorn and kettle corn. It will continue serving customers and keep its vendor market open through Oct. 31.
The owners said they plan to continue with events, catering, school functions, fundraisers, and special orders for kettle corn, lemonade, dirty sodas, and dirty popcorn.
The post also noted that the owner will return to Sugared & Spiced, a previous business focused on homemade goodies and specialty creations.
De Nada, an artisan boutique at 3038 W. Beauregard Ave., said in a Facebook post that it will close in November. The owner wrote that keeping up with bills has been a struggle this year and that a break and recharge are needed.
The post said the business is not giving up on its dreams, plans to return one day, and that the “magic of De Nada will never be gone.”
The October show at De Nada is still scheduled, with sales intended to help clear inventory and cover remaining rent and utilities. The owner said more details on a final closing date will be posted later.
