Sheriff’s Office Relocates Fall Festival Due to Rain Forecast

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office has moved its annual Fall Festival to the San Angelo Farmers Market Pavilion because of a rainy forecast.

The event, which promotes the Children’s Advocacy Center of Greater West Texas, had been scheduled for the South Lawn of the Tom Green County Courthouse. It will now be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the pavilion, located at 609 S. Oakes Street across from Fort Concho, the office stated.

The festival features decorated patrol vehicles, with deputies and other local law enforcement officers handing out candy. Additional activities include face painting, balloon shaping, music, vendor booths, a photo booth, and free hot dogs. Organizers also expect appearances by the Wall High School Cheerleaders, Wally the Hawk, and mascots from other community organizations.

Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office thanked the businesses and private donors who helped make the festival possible.
