Chadbourne Street College Intersection Work Set For Early December Finish

SAN ANGELO, TX — Work at the College intersection on the Chadbourne Street construction project is expected to be fully complete within the first week of December, according to a city update issued Friday.

Roadway demolition at the intersection is complete. Current work includes utility line and meter relocations and road base construction. Construction will begin on the west side and move east in phases.

A Frontier Fiber vault found in the intersection will have to be lowered. The unforeseen work should not affect the timeline, the update said.

The stretch from Beauregard to Harris is fully open to traffic. Street lighting there is scheduled for October.

From Harris to College, the roadway is open to traffic from the south. Parking striping will be applied later in the project, and street lighting is scheduled for October.

The Harris intersection is fully open to traffic. Signals there are scheduled for October.

After the College intersection, work will start on the 2nd Street intersection.
