San Angelo ISD Sets Groundbreaking for Lake View High School Improvements

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo Independent School District will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for campus improvements at Lake View High School on Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 5 to 5:30 p.m. at the school, 900 E. 43rd St.

The event marks the start of projects funded by the district’s voter-approved Bond 2025 program. District leaders, students, staff and community members are invited to attend.

The improvements include Career and Technical Education additions and renovations, a new dedicated Mariachi Hall, athletic facility upgrades, locker room renovations and other campus enhancements. Officials say the work aims to provide modern spaces that support hands-on career preparation, fine arts and athletics.

The Lake View projects are part of Bond 2025, which voters approved to address aging facilities and improve learning environments across the district.

Community members, alumni, families and supporters are encouraged to attend.
