SAN ANGELO, TX — A grass fire Thursday afternoon shut down traffic on the Avenue L bridge.
The fire was reported under the bridge at about 1 p.m.
Police officers closed off traffic on the bridge — between the Metcalfe Street and South Concho Park Drive — as firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.
It’s unknown what caused the fire.
