SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo ISD will host its third annual San Angelo READS! & United We Read back-to-school pop-up.
"This is a free, fun-filled, family-friendly event celebrating literacy and helping San Angelo area students and families gear up for a great school year," SAISD stated.
The event will be on Friday, July 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the First Financial Pavilion, 4608 Grape Creek Rd.
SAISD will provide:
- Free backpacks & school supplies
- Free food
- Free games, activities, giveaways and services
- Help with 2026–2027 school registration
- Vision screenings for children and adults
- Immunization clinic
- Vehicle exploration
- Literacy activities
All supplies and resources are available while supplies last, and no registration is required.
There will also be visits from Clifford the Big Red Dog, H-E-Buddy, Whataguy and other special guests.
Parking & Entrance Information:
Attendee parking will be available in the Coliseum parking lot. Families should enter through the Fairgrounds Main Entrance and proceed to the First Financial Pavilion.
