SAN ANGELO, TX — Two downtown bridges will close Friday for the Star-Spangled Banner Concert and Fireworks Show, the City of San Angelo announced.
The Oakes Street Bridge will be closed from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. for fireworks setup, the display and post-event cleanup.
The Chadbourne Street Bridge will close from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. to provide a safe viewing area for attendees during the show.
Officials asked motorists to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and allow extra travel time while the community celebrates Independence Day.
