TxDOT Installs New All-Way Stop Near San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Texas Department of Transportation crews installed a new all-way stop Wednesday morning at the intersection of U.S. 87 and East Loop 306 near San Angelo. 

The change affects traffic from all directions at the intersection. 

Since 2016, there have been 67 crashes recorded at the intersection.

In a social media post, TxDOT advised drivers to slow down, stay alert and watch for other vehicles coming to a stop while adjusting to the new pattern. 

The department said everyone should work together to keep the transition safe.
