SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Independent School District Board of Trustees will hold its regular meeting at 5:45 p.m. Monday in the board room of the administration building at 1621 University.
The agenda includes recognitions for the Central High School Indoor Percussion Program and student scholarship recipients. Board members will also receive updates on bond construction projects and academic programs.
Consent items include approval of June donations, minutes from the May 11 pre-agenda workshop and May 18 regular meeting, a library book purchase, and a Medicaid service agreement with Houston ISD. Trustees will consider nominating Ami Mizell-Flint to fill the Region 15 seat on the Texas Association of School Boards Board of Directors and selecting a delegate and alternate delegate for the TASB convention.
Action items include approval of May bills, accounts and financial statements, quarterly investments, and several bond-related projects. The board will consider a request for qualifications for districtwide intercom system replacements under the 2025 bond, a science wing roof replacement at Lake View High School, and a proposed change order for fire alarm installation with E3 Entegral Solutions.
Additional action items involve proposed elementary attendance boundaries for the 2027-2028 school year and secondary feeder patterns.
The board will conduct a finance and audit committee workshop that includes routine financial reports on bills and accounts, monthly and quarterly investments, tax collections and purchasing.
The meeting is open to the public and includes a public comments section. Future meetings announced on the agenda are a finance/pre-agenda workshop on July 13 and the next regular board meeting on July 20, both at 5:45 p.m.
