SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Community Band, under the direction of Dr. Constance Kelley of the Angelo State University music faculty, will present the second concert of its 2026 Summer Series on Monday, June 15.
The free concert will begin at 7 p.m. It will be held at the Lake View High School Auditorium, 900 E. 43rd St.
The musical program will include:
- "Fanfare 250" by Noah D. Taylor
- "Rhapsody for Flute" by Stephen Bulla, featuring Stephanie Ellis-Dearborn on flute
- "Shenandoah" by Frank Ticheli
- Suite from "Hamilton" by Lin-Manuel Miranda
- "The Washington Post March" by John Philip Sousa
- "The Bluebonnet Revue: Vaudeville Meets Texas" by John Wasson
Celebrating its 37th year, the SACB features about 50 local and area musicians, including ASU students, faculty, staff and alumni, public school music teachers and community members.
