SAN ANGELO, TX — Dr. Sarah Hernandez, the high school principal for Texas Leadership of San Angelo, has been recognized as the 2026 Region 15 High School Principal of the Year.
Hernandez won the award at a conference for the Texas Association of Secondary Schools Principals.
This is the second consecutive year Hernandez has won the award.
Hernandez now advances as a contender for Texas Principal of the Year.
Hernandez, who joined Texas Leadership in 2023, holds degrees from Hardin–Simmons University and Angelo State University and has over 17 years of experience in campus administration.
"Dr. Hernandez's dedication to student success, commitment to leadership development, and passion for education continue to make a lasting impact on our Eagles and school community," TLSA stated. "We are incredibly proud of Dr. Hernandez and grateful for her leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to helping students reach their full potential."
