Firefighters Extinguish Travel Trailer Blaze in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX — A travel trailer caught on fire Tuesday afternoon at a residence in San Angelo.

The fire occurred about 3:15 p.m. on Goodfellow Avenue near Center Street.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, but the travel trailer was essentially a smoldering pile of rubble at that point.

A neighbor reported the fire and said it was threatening nearby structures, but the fire didn’t jump to any homes.

An AEP worker was on the scene restoring electricity.
