SAN ANGELO, TX — The Municipal Pool still hasn’t opened for the summer due to ongoing maintenance and equipment replacement.
The City of San Angelo made the announcement Tuesday, June 2.
The pool, located at 18 East Ave. A, was scheduled to open Tuesday, May 26. A new opening date hasn’t been set yet.
For questions about scheduled private parties, the City of San Angelo directed people to contact the Recreation Office at 325-657-4450.
The splash pad at Kirby Park, 1401 Edmund Blvd., also remains closed due to repairs but is expected to open at some point this summer.
The splash pad at Unidad Park, 3245 Vista Del Arroyo Drive, however, is operating. There is no cost, and it’s open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The public can also cool off at Brown’s Pool, 5301 Fruitland Farm Road. The pool is open seven days a week for the remainder of the summer.
Admission to Brown’s Pool is $6 per person ages 4 and older. It’s free for children 3 and under with a paying adult.
