SAN ANGELO, TX — The City of San Angelo's annual Youth Fishing Derby will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6, on Celebration Bridge, 16 E. Ave. A.
Registration will begin at 7 a.m.
Here's what to expect:
- Free fishing downtown along the Concho River
- Participants must bring their own poles and bait
- Free donuts and juice are provided while supplies last
Prizes:
- Top 3 most fish caught in each age group
- Top 3 largest fish overall
Age groups:
- 1–6
- 7–12
- 13–17
