Dog the Bounty Hunter Coming to San Angelo Comic Con

SAN ANGELO, TX — Duane “Dog” Chapman, star of the reality television series “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” will appear at San Angelo Comic Con on June 5-7 at Spur Arena.

The announcement was made Friday by event organizers. Chapman, a world-famous bounty hunter with more than 6,000 captures, will offer photo opportunities, autographs and live appearances for fans.

Born Feb. 2, 1953, in Denver, Chapman gained international attention in 2003 for tracking down Max Factor heir Andrew Luster. He starred in the A&E series “Dog the Bounty Hunter” from 2004 to 2012 and later in “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt.”

Organizers described the appearance as a chance for fans to “meet the man, hear the stories” from a celebrity known for overcoming a troubled past, including time in prison, to build a high-profile career in law enforcement and television.

Tickets and more information are available through San Angelo Comic Con channels.
