Kona Ice of San Angelo Warns of Impersonator Requesting Job Interviews at Private Homes

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Kona Ice of San Angelo is warning job applicants that someone is impersonating a company manager and asking them to attend interviews at a private home.

The local shaved-ice business said the requests are not legitimate and issued the alert in a social media post Friday.

“Someone is impersonating a Kona Ice manager,” the notice states. “They are asking to interview job applicants at a private home. This is NOT legitimate.”

Kona Ice of San Angelo will never ask job applicants to meet at a private location or to share personal information via email, the post said. 

Anyone contacted by someone claiming to work for the company and requesting an interview at a private residence should report it to the San Angelo Police Department, case number 20260004023. 

The warning was posted April 10 at 4:10 p.m.
