SAN ANGELO, TX — The Concho Christmas Celebration announced it will hold the drawing for the JC Penney and Sunset Mall $1,000 Survey Giveaway at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13.
The drawing will take place in Sunset Meal near JC Penney.
The event celebrates the community members and volunteers who participated in this year’s Concho Christmas Celebration survey efforts.
Here’s what to expect:
- One lucky survey participant will win the $1,000 JC Penney and Sunset Mall giveaway.
- Five $100 winners will be drawn from the community hosts who helped make Concho Christmas a success.
- Five $100 winners will also be drawn from the REACT team members in appreciation of their time and commitment to the event.
The Concho Christmas Celebration began in 1994 as a walking tour of Christmas lights at the El Paseo de Santa Angela. Two years later, the Concho Christmas Celebration found a new home along River Drive, which allowed the event to evolve into a driving tour. Currently, the Tour of Lights encompasses a 2.5-mile drive along the banks of the Concho River and features a wide variety of lighted Christmas scenes with over 3 million lights.
The annual Concho Christmas Celebration kicks off the holiday season early in December and has become a signature event which includes the Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Lights of Christmas Parade.
