MENARD, TX — A Menard High School sophomore is representing Texas in the junior division of the 2026 National Make It With Wool competition and is competing for the division’s social media award, with public voting closing Saturday afternoon.
Makenzie Wright’s entry is among those featured in the junior social media contest post on the National Make It With Wool Facebook page.
The winner in each category is determined by the photo with the most likes on the original contest post. Voting remains open until 3 p.m. Pacific Time (5 p.m. CST) on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026.
Wright, a student at Menard High School, is one of several juniors nationwide showcasing wool garments in the annual competition.
Supporters can vote by liking Wright’s photo, labeled “Makenzie Wright-TX,” directly on the official junior contest post on the National Make It With Wool Facebook page. Find it HERE.
