City of San Angelo Offices Closed Monday Due to Icy Conditions

SAN ANGELO, TX - The City of San Angelo has officially announced the closure of non-essential city offices on Monday, January 26, 2026, citing hazardous icy conditions on roadways, overpasses, and bridges.

Offices will resume normal operations at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27. Public safety, emergency response, and other critical operations will continue without interruption.

The Planning Commission and Civil Services meetings originally set for Monday will be postponed to a later date.

If travel is unavoidable, residents should drive slowly, allow extra stopping distance, and exercise extreme caution—especially on bridges and overpasses, which freeze first.
