City Names New Neighborhood and Family Services Director

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - The City of San Angelo has appointed Angela Bloss as its new director of neighborhood and family services, effective Jan. 5.

According to information from the city, Bloss has served the City of San Angelo since 2017, most recently as interim assistant director of neighborhood and family services and WIC manager.

In her role as director, Bloss will oversee all divisions within the department, including Code Compliance, Women, Infants and Children (WIC), and Community and Housing. She will also manage budget and grant requirements, as well as help ensure services are delivered effectively to support safe, healthy neighborhoods in the community.

“I’ve seen firsthand how much these services matter to residents,” Bloss stated, “and I want to continue strengthening the connection between staff, programs and the community.”
