SAN ANGELO, TX — The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has announced the Concho Valley’s last channel catfish stockings of 2025.

The final three sites stocked will be at Bell Street in San Angelo, Spring Creek in Mertzon, and Richards Park in Brady.

Richards Park was stocked Monday with 1,500 channel catfish 9 inches in length.

Bell Street (2,000 catfish) and Spring Creek (1,000 catfish) are scheduled to be stocked Wednesday.

Anglers may keep up to five fish per day. A fishing license is required for adults, while youths 17 and under do not need one.
