SAN ANGELO, TX — Residents near the San Angelo Regional Airport may notice increased air traffic and noise over the next few days as military flight training takes place in the area.

According to the City of San Angelo, the airport and Ranger Aviation are hosting training flights involving T-6 Texan II aircraft through Monday, Nov. 15.

The flights are scheduled to occur several times a day, with multiple aircraft expected to take off and land throughout the training period. Officials advise the public to anticipate higher-than-usual noise levels and increased air activity around the airport.

These T-6 Texan II aircraft are commonly used for pilot training by the U.S. military.
