Sheriff’s Office to Host Fall Festival on Thursday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office Fall Festival will be held downtown on Thursday, Oct. 16.

The free, family-friendly event will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the south lawn of the Tom Green County Courthouse.

There will be decorated patrol cars, the Bearcat vehicle, face painting, bobbing for apples, an animal balloon artist, a photo booth with the Angelo State University cheerleaders, along with other games and activities.

Vendor tables include the Tom Green County Library, ADACCV, Junior League of San Angelo, MHMR, Optimum Internet, Shannon Hospital, YMCA and Child Advocacy Center, which will offer games and “treats” for the kiddos.

Hot dogs will be provided by First Financial Bank, while Chik-fil-A is serving as a general sponsor.

Entertainment will be provided by one-man band Billy Langley.

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office gives special thanks to community partners Gandy Ink (providing event bags in kind), Blue Cross Blue Shield (providing volunteers), ASU Law Enforcement group (hosting a table and assisting as volunteers), and Double Barrel Fabrication (providing water).

This year’s event is designed to raise awareness for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Greater West Texas.
