SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Police Department will host its annual National Night Out on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 609 S. Oakes St.
National Night Out is a community event that aims to strengthen partnerships between police officers and residents while promoting neighborhood safety and unity. The event brings together families, community organizations, and local law enforcement for an evening of outreach and camaraderie.
According to the national campaign’s website, National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement “while bringing back a true sense of community.” It provides an opportunity for police and residents to meet under positive circumstances through neighborhood gatherings, public safety demonstrations, and other interactive activities.
The event is free and open to the public.
