San Angelo to Host 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo fire and police departments will hold a public ceremony to honor the heroes and fallen of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

The remembrance event is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, at the City’s 9/11 monument located near Celebration Bridge along the Concho River. The site is adjacent to the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts at 1 Love Street.

Organizers note that the ceremony is free and open to all members of the public.
