SAN ANGELO, TX - The San Angelo Community Band (SACB), under the direction of Dr. Constance Kelley of the Angelo State University music faculty, will wrap up its 2025 Summer Series with a performance on Monday, Aug. 4, at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church, 4522 College Hills Blvd.
Titled "Serenade for a Picket Fence," the fun and light-hearted concert will begin at 7 p.m. in the church's Life Center and is open and free to the public. The musical program will include:
- "Fandango" by Carol Brittin Chambers
- "Galop Festivo" by Randall D. Standridge
- "Serenade for a Picket Fence" by Norman Leyden, featuring local musicians Caleb Lenard and Joshua Powell
- "That Little Beast" by Peter Sciaino
- "Pie in the Face Polka" by Henry Mancini, featuring the Clarinet Section
- "Pirates Revenge" by Adrian B. Sims
- "Blue Moon" by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart, featuring ASU music student Andrea Thompson
