New Facebook Page to Share Local Disaster Updates

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Area COAD (Community Organizations Active in Disaster) has launched an official Facebook page to serve as the primary source for disaster-related updates and community information.

The page will be used to release emergency information to the public, including shelter and resource availability, volunteer and donation opportunities, and recovery and assistance programs.

“In times of emergency, timely and accurate communication is critical,” the organization stated.

COAD is encouraging all residents of San Angelo and surrounding areas to follow and share the page to stay informed and prepared. You can find it HERE.
