Brisket Plate Fundraiser to Help San Angelo Couple Dealing With Loss of Daughter

SAN ANGELO, TX — A brisket plate fundraiser is taking place Sunday, July 27, to raise funds for a couple whose daughter recently succumbed to Juvenile Huntington's Disease.

Ari Salazar passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025.

The benefit will assist the couple in getting Ari a headstone. The post says:

“We are selling plates to help raise money for my daughter’s headstone. Please come out and support us and let us take care of your lunch and dinner plans. We appreciate everyone during these times as they are extremely difficult for Hector and me. We hope we can raise enough funds to give Ari the headstone she deserves.”

San Angelo LIVE! spoke with both Natalie and Hector in an interview you can watch below:

The plate includes brisket, rice, beans, and a drink for $15. You can get a plate at 3805 Lake Drive at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 27.

Cash or checks will be accepted. Below you can find the different QR codes to donate:
