Main Street Man Threatens To Jump, Talked Down By Angelo Police

Just after 3 pm on Sunday July 13th, police were called to a scene where a man was clinging to the edge of the Main Street overpass with highway traffic rushing below.

Several Angelo PD units were on scene to give space and traffic control to the area. State Troopers, Fire and EMS were called to the scene in soft perimeter to not crowd the sensitive scene.

Within an hour, Angelo PD were able to progessively talk the man down from the ledge, and safely give special aid. No other subjects were involved, and no confirmed motive has been made public.
