SAN ANGELO, TX — The 5th Annual Star-Spangled Banner Concert & Fireworks, organized by San Angelo LIVE!, will be held at the Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial RiverStage on Thursday, July 3.
The event kicks off with a high-energy performance by San Angelo’s own 12 Mile, known for their Texas Country sound and charting singles, "Sing Along" and "The Bottle."
Following 12 Mile’s performance, the San Angelo Community Band will fill the RiverStage with patriotic favorites leading into what organizers promise to be the largest and most spectacular fireworks show in West Texas.
This year’s celebration also introduces an exciting new feature: complimentary trolley service to enhance the downtown experience. Guests are invited to park at either the Central Oakes Campus (218 N. Oakes St.) or the McNease Convention Center (501 Rio Concho Dr.) and hop on a free trolley for a fun and convenient ride to participating downtown merchant locations between 2 p.m. and 2 a.m.
Admission to the RiverStage is free. Gates open at noon, and guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Coolers are welcome, but glass containers and outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited in the RiverStage area.
VIP tables, seating up to eight guests, are available for $600 each, while private cabanas can be reserved for $1,200, plus a small credit card transaction fee. Proceeds from VIP table and cabana sales will help fund an even more spectacular fireworks show next year. As in previous years, cabanas will be set up behind the RiverStage along the river, offering prime seating for the fireworks display, which begins at 7 p.m., and access to a private bar.
