Early Voting Ends in District 2 Runoff — Here’s How Many Ballots Were Cast

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Early voting has officially ended in the runoff election for San Angelo’s Single Member District 2 city council seat.

According to the Tom Green County Elections Office, a total of 248 in-person ballots were cast during the early voting period, which concluded Tuesday evening. An additional 31 absentee ballots have been received.

The runoff between Joe Self and Dudra D. Butler was triggered after neither candidate received a majority of votes in the May 3 general election. Self received 485 votes (37.83%), Butler received 432 (33.70%), and John Bario received 365 (28.47%).

Election Day is Saturday, June 7. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Angelo Bible Church, 3506 Sherwood Way

  • Calvary Baptist Church, 2401 Armstrong St.

  • Concho Valley Transit District (Bus Depot), 506 N. Chadbourne

  • SAF First Assembly of God, 1442 Edmund Blvd.

  • Keating Paint and Body, 5050 N. Chadbourne

  • Oak Grove Senior Apartments, 4359 Oak Grove Blvd.

  • MHMR Services of the Concho Valley, 1501 W. Beauregard

  • Wesley Trinity United Methodist Church, 301 W. 18th St.
