SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Hispanic Heritage Museum and Cultural Center has announced that the 2025 Banquet will feature actor and activist Wilmer Valderrama as guest speaker. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27, at the ASU CJ Davidson Center, 1910 Rosemont Dr.
Valderrama is best known for playing Fez in the sitcom "That ’70s Show," but has also starred in "NCIS," voiced a character in Disney’s "Encanto," and is set to play the lead in a new "Zorro" project. Organizers say he brings a compelling mix of entertainment experience and advocacy for Latino representation and social change.
“Wilmer is an unstoppable force in Hollywood and a passionate activist for Latino representation and social change," the San Angelo Hispanic Heritage Museum and Cultural Center stated on its website. "We’re excited to bring San Angelo a message that’s equally inspiring and entertaining."
The annual banquet supports the museum’s mission to celebrate Hispanic culture, history, and community impact.
