SAN ANGELO, TX — The Learning Center will hold a book sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3.
Located at 59 E. 6th St., the Learning Center formerly operated as the Adult Literacy Council of the Concho Valley.
It has now shifted its focus to helping tutor children, said director Marilynn Golightly.
While Saturday’s book sale will be a one-day event, as opposed to the multi-day “Best Little Book Sale in Texas” that has been held in previous years, there will still be an overflowing supply of books available.
Golightly said her organization recently received a donation of books from Lamar Elementary.
