SAN ANGELO, TX — Brown’s Pool, a longtime summer favorite in San Angelo, will open its doors this weekend for the first time this year.
The pool will be open from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4.
Located at 5301 Fruitland Farm Road, Brown’s Pool has a large recreation area with picnic tables, barbecue pits, a basketball court, sand volleyball court and a game room.
Brown’s Pool will be open Saturdays and Sundays only until opening full-time May 24.
The cost is $6 per person. Children 3 years old and younger get in free with a paying adult. Cash is required.
Customers can take food and an empty Yeti cup, but drinks are not allowed in an attempt to prevent alcohol. Sunflower and pistachio seeds are also prohibited.

The City of San Angelo’s Municipal Pool, 18 E. Ave. A, will open Saturday, May 24.
