San Angelo City Offices to Close for Good Friday; Trash Pickup Unaffected

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — City offices will be closed Friday, April 18, in observance of Good Friday, though there will be no interruption in trash pickup or landfill operations, according to city officials.

Among the closures are City Hall, the Community Development Building, the City Hall Annex (including water billing), Animal Services, the Municipal Court, Parks and Recreation offices, the San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department, Fairmount Cemetery’s business offices, and both Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers, along with Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers.

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) offices, which are normally closed Fridays, will also be closed Thursday, April 17. They will reopen at 7 a.m. Monday, April 21.

Fort Concho’s Visitor Center in Barracks 1 will remain open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Good Friday and Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Easter Sunday, April 20. Self-guided tours will be available throughout the weekend. Fort Concho is located at 630 S. Oakes St.
