Burn Ban Lifted in Tom Green County

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Tom Green County Commissioners Court announced Tuesday that a burn ban in the county has been lifted.

Last week’s rainfall brought an end to dry conditions that had persisted for months.

The Commissioners Court will meet again Tuesday, April 15, to reconsider the status of the burn ban.

Residents are still urged to use caution when burning and to utilize a burn barrel.

If you’re planning to burn large brush piles, call the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 325-655-8111 to give them notice.
