Fire Devastates Local Family Home; GoFundMe Established

SAN ANGELO, TX — A fire caused by an electrical issue in the attic destroyed the home of Ellis and Elva Viafranco, leaving the family with emotional and financial losses.

The fire also displaced their niece, Arya Haynes, who was living with them.

Although no injuries were reported during the fire, the family lost their home and all belongings, described as a space filled with love and cherished memories. The tragedy came just a day after Arya’s 20th birthday.

In a further hardship, Elva Viafranco suffered heart failure the day after the fire and remains hospitalized under close medical supervision. The family is now facing the dual challenges of rebuilding their lives and addressing medical concerns.

To help cover immediate needs such as clothing, toiletries, and temporary housing, the Viafranco family has set up a GoFundMe campaign.

As of now, $225 has been raised toward the $2,000 goal. The family has also requested prayers and community support during this difficult time.

Donations can be made through the GoFundMe here.
