10 Dogs Face Euthanasia at San Angelo Animal Shelter

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Animal Shelter has issued an urgent call for adopters and fosters as it approaches capacity, with 173 dogs currently housed.

Ten dogs are at immediate risk of euthanasia unless they are adopted, fostered, or transferred to another rescue by Saturday, February 1, at 4 p.m.

The shelter is required to keep its population under 180 dogs at all times. Community members interested in adopting or fostering are encouraged to contact Concho Valley PAWS, which facilitates all placements, by visiting cvpaws.org/adopt or going to their location at 3134 N US Highway 67.
